HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Friends and Family,
Time has gotten away from us and we did not get a chance to send out cards this year. So here is what the card would have looked like. We are busy busy packing for our trip to MD and are looking forward to seeing everyone real soon!

We have Primer and molding!!!!!

We went by the house tonight and they had been painting!!!! We also noticed that all of the molding is up, and the wrought iron spindles, look at the picture looking down the steps!! All of the pictures are on the picture links and we will post pictures taken in the daylight.

Quick update

If you haven't checked out the house pictures link lately I just finished uploading all of the house photos. We have trim and doors on the inside. Hopefully we will get some paint on the walls this week.

Also, an exciting event for Cade and I happened last week. I bought a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500!!!! The car is a 2 door fastback with the 4.7 289 motor!!!!!! The car is in rough shape but runs, and will be my daily driver sometime in January. Check back for some pictures!!!

Our 1st project!!!! My goal is to restore it in 5 years then take on another!! We will see how it goes but I did promise Avery a 60's Cadillac convertible..........................PINK of course!!!!!

The bricks are all done!

Finally, all of the bricking on the house has been completed!! We noticed that there are no brinks on our veranda fireplace and when we talked to our construction manager we were pleasantly surprised that it will be stone!!! I guess that upgrade included more than we thought!!!!!!

We have BRICKS!!!!!

We drove by the house this afternoon and to our suprise they had started and nearly finished the brick!! Tomorrow afternoon we'll go over and walk through it to look at the drywall.

Out original plans fell through so we took the kids and went to ChuckECheese. They had a blast.











The chocolate cupcakes were the semi healthy, vegan cupcakes that I made....but earlier in the evening while I was at IV therapy, Cade got into the fridge, left the door open and Kali wanted to eat the candles so she knocked them all over on the floor. SO, we had to buy these red cupcakes instead....but at least they were football ones.

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY CADE!!!!!

For lunch I took Cade To Oh!Bryan's Restaurant. We sat in a classic corvette while we ate our lunch and we watched Chicken Little on the big screen. The waitress even brought him his own chocolate cake with a candle in it!

Shingles!

We finally have shingles on the house!! Bricking should be starting soon as well as drywall. All the electric and cable has been ran and the insulation was done today.

Other than that we aren't up to much. Mom and dad will be coming for a visit next friday so we're looking forward to that.

We went out to the house this morning and walked around. This past week they got the roof on and the windows in!
